At Goldstar, every spring is made of high-quality spring steel.Use oil-quenched or unquenched wires, depending on the design.When oil quenching wire is used, all springs release stress directly in a straight line after coiling.The spring made of steel wire without quenching is quenched and tempered after coiling, so that the spring strength is high and no stress is needed to be eliminated.In both cases, the steel will have the same spring mass characteristics.

The wire is cold formed to spring shape in computer controlled automatic coiling machines. When oil quenched wire is used, all springs are stress relieved. This treatment improves the fatigue strength.

Some chassis spring designs have one or both ends ground. At Goldstar this grinding is done in special computer controlled spring grinding machines.
