Starting from a wire diameter of 17mm up to 60mm, our large compression springs are manufactured much in the same way as our Hot Coiled Compression Springs. Common uses for specifically hot coiled compression springs include railways or mechanisms in cars. Setting a spring at a high temperature minimises the loss of load at the operating temperature, and is especially efficient for functions in railways and cars which function by relying on their fixtures.
